Grace & the community

We love our Community!

GraceKennedy Belize has always strived to be a socially responsible citizen by supporting various charitable organizations in the areas of education, health, sports, the arts, and the environment.  We provide donations whether in cash or in kind to countless organizations throughout the country.  The Partners below are those for which we have maintained a consistent relationship over the years and who we are proud to partner with as they continue their important work for the community.

Salvation Army Feeding Program

GraceKennedy (Belize) Ltd. has always prided itself on being a good corporate citizen. In an effort to continue its contribution to the community, the company embarked on a school feeding program at the Salvation Army Primary School. The program caters to 125 students and provides breakfast Monday through Friday for the 9 months of the school year.

Stepping Stones Feeding Program

“Stepping Stones Pre-School” was opened on the 28th September, 2005 with a full complement of fifteen students. As part of GraceKennedy community outreach the staff of GraceKennedy (Belize) approached the school in September of 2018 with the offer to provide monthly donations of Grace Pastas, Milks, Vienna’s, Ketchup, Roma Instant, Chubby and Springtime Bleach. These food items help with the daily snacks provided to the preschoolers and a warm cup of hot chocolate or milk for their cereals.

Since then GraceKennedy has stuck to that commitment and it is indeed heart-warming to see the faces of the children when the delivery is made as they have become accustomed to seeing the staff and they would shout out exactly what is being delivered.

To date the total enrolment has doubled to thirty students and now hosts two daily sessions of fifteen four year old’s in the morning and fifteen three year old’s in the afternoon session.

Friends for Conservation & Development

Since 2016, GraceKennedy (Belize) Ltd. has been proudly assisting the Friends for Conservation and Development (FCD) by providing its rangers with Food Supply necessary for their field work. GKB encourages all Belizeans to learn more about the important work FCD is doing and to support them in the conservation for the Chiquibul as well as protecting our natural resources from encroachment.

Philip Goldson Highway Roundabout

In 2009, GraceKennedy (Belize) adopted the roundabout on the Philip Goldson Highway – main entrance into Belize City, in partnership with the Belize City Council. It is kept clean and the plants are maintained as a part of the city beautification program being administered by the council. We recently planted a Mahogany Tree on the site to commemorate our 35th Year Anniversary.
