1 lb. Coco
1/2 lb. cabbage
1 onion
2 tomatoes
6 okras
2 tsps. salt
1/2 tsp. Grace black pepper
8 spice seeds
Habanero pepper to taste Preparation Scrape and clean cow’s foot. Cut up all vegetables. Put cow’s foot, seasoned with salt and pepper, in pot with enough water to cover and one inch above. Add spice seeds, cover pot and simmer on low heat until tender (approx. 3 hours), adding water as cooking progresses to maintain desired amount of liquid. When tender, add vegetables. If a thick soup is desired, make a paste of 1 tbsp. flour, 1 tsp. recado and a little water, add to soup. Cook for 15 minutes more. Clicks: 2553
