1/4 lb Shortening
4 tbsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Salt
1 can Grace Coconut Milk Liquid Preparation / Preparación Place flour into a bowl, add Shortening, Baking Powder and salt. Mix together, gradually adding Grace Coconut Milk. Mix until dough is easy to handle. Knead for 3-6 minutes or until dough is smooth. Cut into small pieces and roll into balls. Grease baking sheet lightly. Take each ball and flatten a bit on baking sheet. Bake at 350 for approximately 20 minutes or until bottom is brown. To brown the top of the Johnny Cake take baking sheet out of the oven and place it at the bottom for 3-5 minutes.
Note that if your Oven has broiler option, set on broil for 3-5 minutes to brown the top. Clicks / clics: 3155
